Weeds #17: Grasses and Oxeye daisy

Rewilding my garden and recording what grows. Grasses with Oxeye Daisy. I’ve always loved the diversity of grasses. The name daisy comes from the old English ‘dæges rage’ or day’s eye, as the flower opened up as the sun came up (Ref: Zoë Devlin). According to Juanita Browne “There are over 2 million domestic gardens (or 359,000 acres) in this country. Just imagine the difference it could make if 2 million gardens became biodiversity friendly!”
